On December 17, the EACN initiative will hold a
high-level conference in which the President of the European Clusters Alliance
(ECA), Antonio Novo, and the Head of Unit Advanced Technologies, Clusters and
Social Economy at European Commission, Ulla Engelmann, will participate.
The online event will be held with the aim to
promote the outcomes of the project, to present the EACN Partnership Agenda and
to discuss cooperation opportunities with other Partnerships and European
Thematic Networks. It is targeted to other clusters wanting to join the
Partnership; companies (cluster members); technology centres, universities and
other R&D organisations; technology suppliers; other Partnerships and
European Thematic Networks, regional and national authorities.
During the conference the Project Partners will
underline the value added of interregional cooperation, the role of the EACN
Partnership in industrial modernisation processes and the benefits of European
cooperation. The European projects manager at Pôle Véhicule du Futur (PVF), Clotilde
Nadé, will be in charge of presenting the main results of the project, while
the Animator of EACN partnership and European Programmes Manager at PVF, Thomas
Röhr, and the Project and event manager at Automotive Cluster Bulgaria (ACB), Miglena
Miteva, will delve into the long-term cooperation strategy of the EACN
Partnership.
Also, at
the event the winners of the EACN Best Practices Awards in all four categories
will be announced. The winning companies will be able to present their projects
to the rest of the attendees.
